Adeel Qalbani is a Senior Managing Director at Reservoir Capital Group, a $4 billion investment firm that invests directly in public and private securities, as well as in partnership with investment teams through the creation of hedge funds and private equity firms. He is closely involved with all aspects of Reservoir’s investments and serves on Reservoir’s Investment Committee.
Mr. Qalbani has led investments in various industries including the power, energy, and insurance sectors. He serves on the boards of directors of several of Reservoir's portfolio companies. He also manages Reservoir’s public investments, applying Reservoir’s private investment approach to public market opportunities.
Mr. Qalbani grew up in Sioux City, Iowa. He graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Princeton University with an A.B. in Economics. He received an M.Phil in Economics from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar. His research focused on international financial markets. He also played varsity tennis at Princeton and at Oxford, where he was captain of the team.
