Writer/Entrepreneur
Antoine Bello was born in Boston in 1970. He holds dual French and American citizenship and currently lives in New York with his wife and four children.
While studying at HEC Business School, Bello founded Ubiqus, a company specialized in the writing of minutes of corporate and public meetings. Ubiqus grew at a brisk pace during the next 15 years, to reach approximately 350 employees and 45 million euros in revenue in 2007, when it was sold to Finama Private Equity.
Bello is a business angel and a board member in several small companies, both in France and in the United States.
Bello is also a writer, published in France by Gallimard. His works include Les Eclaireurs (2009, Prix France Culture - Telerama) and Eloge de la pièce manquante (1999), which was translated into eight languages.
Last, Bello is the father of rankopedia, a not-for-profit website listing thousands of rankings in various categories (music, movies, books, etc.).
