Exclusive Visit of the research schooner Tara

On February 10 a group of French-American Foundation members had the exclusive opportunity to visit “Tara,” a 118-foot research schooner that was visiting New York as part of a global scientific cruise on the impact of climate change on ecosystems.

Tara Expeditions is a non-profit association based in France that provides samples and data to the scientific community worldwide. The Tara Expeditions project is affiliated with the United Nations Programme for the Environment (more information here).
