To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Translation Prizes, the French-American Foundation will host, in partnership with the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in New York, a panel discussion featuring industry experts. Translators, authors, editors, publishers and Francophile readers will be invited to join the panelists for a discussion on the current challenges facing professionals working with translations and how the state of French literature in the United States has evolved over the last 25 years.

Since 1986, the French-American Foundation, with the long-standing support of the Florence Gould Foundation, awards annual Translation Prizes for the best translation from French to English in fiction and non-fiction.
